It’s been half a year since we moved to Finland, can you believe it? A lot has changed since that first month, and I’ve got many more projects planned in the coming winter months. It’s a little less than a 3 hour drive to get there, and we were trying to avoid traffic both ways. The weather was ridiculously humid and warm in a Floridian sort of way. Luckily the boy’s mother had loaned us her car with functional air [...] We had something of a housewares shopping frenzy yesterday whilst visiting some friends in Turku a few days ago. Which was good, because there’s still lots of stuff in the kitchen that needs stocking. They took us (the poor boy got dragged along, since he had some spare time before meeting up with his buddies [...] I mentioned that I would take pictures once things settled down, but got so caught up in getting through my backlog that I didn’t get around to it until now.
